Donald Trump’s former adviser Steve Bannon does not seem to like the President-Elect’s new right-hand man and favorite, Elon Musk, all that much. He called him “racist, truly evil guy, very bad.” According to Bannon, he was acceptable only because he “used to put money into” the Republican Party. However, he is now to be “taken down” because he “will do anything to make sure that any one of his companies is protected or has a better deal or he makes more money. His aggregation of wealth, and then—through wealth—power: that’s what he’s focused on.”
In an interview with the Italian newspaper Corriere della Sera, the English translation of which was published by Breitbart, Bannon said he would “have Elon Musk run out of here by Inauguration Day. He will not have full access to the White House. He will be like any other person.”
Bannon also criticized Musk’s positive stances on H1B visas, which allow U.S. companies to hire foreigners, and that the issue divided the Republican Party last month. “This thing of the H-1B visas, it’s about the entire immigration system is gamed by the tech overlords. They use it to their advantage. The people are furious. He [Musk] should go back to South Africa,” Bannon said. “Why do we have South Africans, the most racist people on earth, white South Africans, we have them making any comments at all on what goes on in the United States?”
It did not end there. Bannon has come out against other tech leaders who have foreign origins, such as South African David Sacks and German Peter Thiel, who worked with Musk from PayPal and has always been a staunch supporter of Vice President-elect JD Vance.
