La mia carriera nella pubblica amministrazione mi ha vista per 27 anni alla Metropolitan Transportation Authority di New York, 3 nella divisione Arti e Design e 24 come direttore del New York Transit Museum. Ora mi dedico a scrivere di cucina e della vita in Italia, dove io e mio marito abbiamo restaurato un antico casale nelle Marche. Sto facendo un corso di cucina all'Institute for Culinary Education di Manhattan e, con mio marito e nostra figlia, ci dividiamo tra Brooklyn e le Marche. Sul mio blog scrivo di cibo e Italia. Gabrielle Shubert is the former director of the New York Transit Museum in Brooklyn.  She is the author of "Americana in the Kitchen," a blog about cooking and living the expat life in Italy.  She divides her time between Brooklyn and Le Marche.
