Terryon Thomas, a 20-year-old TikTok creator, also known as Mr. Prada, has been charged with second-degree murder and obstruction of justice, according to an announcement made by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana on Thursday.
Thomas was reportedly arrested Tuesday in Dallas following the release of a warrant by the Baton Rouge Police Department. He is accused of aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting a public officer and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
The Baton Rouge TikToker is also accused of driving the stolen vehicle belonging to therapist William Nicholas Abraham, 69, also of Baton Rouge. Abraham was found lying dead on the side of a highway near Tangipahoa Parish, Louisiana, last Sunday; law enforcement officials stated that the cause of death was blunt trauma.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating Abraham’s death as a homicide, conducted a raid of Thomas’s apartment and discovered evidence suggesting that a violent confrontation occurred inside, according to an arrest warrant filed by the sheriff’s office. The affidavit reports that police found “a significant amount of blood” along with “multiple sharps and other weapons”.
Surveillance footage showed that Abraham arrived at Thomas’ apartment complex on Saturday wearing the same clothing in which the body was discovered the next day, according to the affidavit. Witnesses also reported seeing Thomas dragging a sheet down the stairs of the apartment complex and putting it inside Abraham’s vehicle.
The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office stated in a press release that “there is no evidence to suggest that Thomas was a client of Abraham’s.” The office also suggested that the nature of the relationship between Thomas and Abraham, along with possible motive, is still under active investigation.
As of right now, Thomas is in custody in Dallas and is awaiting extradition to Louisiana, with no court date scheduled yet.
