Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene defended her boyfriend, Brian Glenn, as an old video of him dressed as a woman appeared on Twitter.
The video, which included Glenn costumed as an elderly Caucasian woman with a fluffy blonde wig, white gloves, and a pink sweater, was published on Sunday by the Twitter account “Patriot Takes”. The video’s first airing date is unknown, however Glenn worked as an anchor for Dallas’ WFAA TV from 2013 to 2015.
Greene, 48, shared the video on her Twitter account on Sunday and wrote: “I’m literally lol’ing. @brianglenntv dressed in drag for morning news in Dallas years ago reporting on an upcoming local theatre production and the morons over at Patriot Takes think this is an attack.” “Brian loves the throwback and is reposting. The left is so stupid.”, she added.
However, the Georgian congresswoman has not always been so sympathetic on the subject. She had previously stated that letting kids go to drag events ought to “be illegal.” Without providing any evidence, she also asserted in 2022 that Democrats would send IRS agents to target Trump supporters who objected to “drag queen story time for children.”
