TikTok star Taylor Rousseau Grigg has passed away at the age of 25, as announced by her husband, Cameron Grigg. She was known for her lifestyle videos and had a significant following.
In an emotional post on Saturday, October 5, Cameron revealed that her death was “sudden and unexpected” and that she is currently in the hospital for organ donation.
“No one ever expects to have to deal with this kind of pain and heartache, especially at our age, this past year Taylor has dealt with more pain and suffering than most people do in a lifetime. And in spite of that, she still has been such a light and always brought joy to everyone around her”, Cameron wrote.
He then went on to describe Taylor as “the bravest and strongest woman I know,” noting that her faith supported her through “every circumstance she faced, even in her darkest moments”.
“More than anything Taylor would want to know that she’s continuing to save people’s lives even after she’s gone from this world”, and added that Taylor “doesn’t owe anyone, anything” but that she would “want everyone to know that she’s more than ok” and “she’s no longer in pain”.
Taylor’s death follows her recent celebration of her 25th birthday last month. In a TikTok video posted on September 9, titled “Spend My Bday with Me,” Taylor captured moments from her birthday brunch with her husband and their trip to a local Target.
In his latest post, Cameron stated that Taylor’s passing has left them without any financial arrangements, and consequently he asked for donations through a GoFundMe page set up by a friend.
“Taylor has been in and out of the hospital since we got married, and this has affected our financial situation, so we have no insurance,” he wrote. “I love you all. Taylor loves you all. Thank you for all the support and kind words during this time,” he ended, by linking to the GoFundMe page.
