King Charles is doing a delicate balancing act, juggling his cancer treatment and carrying out the daily duties of a monarch. The updates on his health have been positive. Queen Camilla’s son, Tom Parker Bowles, has described King Charles as a “tough man,” reflecting the strength with which the King is confronting his health issues.
In the past week, the palace shared that King Charles has decided to pause his cancer treatment to embark on a royal visit to Australia and Samoa. Many royal commentators interpreted this as good news, His Majesty is recovering very well, and that’s why his medical team has allowed him a chemotherapy break.
But Spanish journalist and Royal expert Concha Calleja, who follows the vicissitudes of the British Royals, has a different view. According to reports, Calleja has obtained privileged information from a source inside Buckingham Palace. Speaking on the Fiesta program on Tuesday, she claimed that Charles “has [been] informed that he is actually ‘very ill’ and knows it’s only a matter of days before he dies.” She added that William is preparing to take over the role as, “The change of crown is going to be accelerated.”

According to Calleja, this also explains recent changes in the routines of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who have been traveling separately. The royal expert claims that Harry is “returning to royal family duties, although there won’t be an official announcement.”
Calleja also has insider information about Princess Kate’s health. She informed the viewers that Kate may be facing another surgery. She will be admitted to the hospital during the week of October 21. “She finished the treatment, but she has to go through medical tests…if they say that the cancer has remitted, then a new small intervention will be scheduled for later. That’s if everything goes well. If the tests don’t go well, then what would be scheduled would be a new treatment session, within normality.”
