In New York, immersing yourself in the culture of the Bel Paese has never been easier. Thanks to the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) and with the collaboration of Bloomingdale’s, the essence of Italian style goes on display: From Italy, With Love. A two-month initiative showcasing more than 150 Made in Italy brands in the United States, with a selection of 30 emerging companies, including Joshua Sanders, Il Bisonte, ViBi Venezia and others. It’s an important partnership desired by the government agency for business development of companies abroad, which was launched with an exclusive event held inside the flagship store on Lexington Avenue and 59th Street.
Bloomingdale’s is among the longest-running concept stores in the United States. Founded in 1872, the department store celebrated its 150th anniversary in 2022. At the moment, those who visit the 59th Street retailer can witness a true celebration of Italian culture. An immersion through fashion for men and women, through design, cuisine and culture, all with installations that transport us to the places and landscapes of the Peninsula, but in the heart of New York.
The Italian Trade Agency lets it be known that the U.S. market is of strategic importance for Italian fashion manufacturers (Apparel, Footwear, Leather Goods, Skins and Furs, Textiles and Yarns, Eyewear, Cosmetics and Jewelry), both in terms of size and consumer trends, compared to the rest of the world, representing the main non-EU market for Made in Italy.
Bloomingdale’s x ITA is a project that aims to generate relationships and affinity towards quality Italian products and fashion while promoting sales. An alliance enriched by intense communication work on the part of the agency, as well as digital promotion on Bloomingdale’s website and through social profiles, along with the creation of a customized space. Finally, From Italy, With Love will be on display in the windows of the New York landmark, dedicated entirely to the showcasing of new Italian brands.
From Italy, with love.
