In a heart-wrenching incident in Casa Grande, Arizona, a 2-year-old boy named Bodhi lost his life when a bounce house was swept up by a strong gust of wind. The accident occurred around 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, leading to the inflatable structure crashing into a neighboring lot. Bodhi was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead due to his injuries, while another child sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
The Pinal County Sheriff’s Office, which is investigating the incident, described it as a horrific freak accident. A statement from the office shared their condolences: “We would like to extend our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to the grieving family.”
The message continued, “Adding to their challenges, Cristy is due to give birth to their second child on May 31, 2024. Amidst their sorrow, they face the daunting task of preparing for the arrival of their newborn.”
