Gruesome mistery in the wealth area of the Upper West Side, Manhattan. A family of four, two adults and two kids aged 2 and 1, was found dead by the police inside their apartment on Monday afternoon. All of them were mortally stabbed.
Around 3pm, New York Police Department received a 911 call for by the paternal father a wellness check on the fourth floor of 328 West 86th Street, between West End and the Riverside Drive. The man had tried several times to reach out to his son without any result. He even went to the apartment but it was locked from the inside. So he turned to the police.
Upon arrival, officers had to force the door. Once inside, they faced with a bloody tragedy. The man (41) and the woman (40) both suffered injuries to the neck. The first body was found in a bedroom, lying on a bed with a knife next to him, and the second was in the hallway. Their kids’ corpses were together in the same room, according to the sources.
Police recovered multiple knives at the scene. They are investingating whether this was a murder-suicide or there is a suspect to look for.
