A subtle but well-defined common thread links Genoese musical and vocal production, from the sixteenth century up to the present day.
The sun on the stones of the drystone walls of the hinterland, the blue of the sea breaking on steep slopes dotted with greenery and rock, the secret splendor of the noble palaces of the historic center hidden by austere facades as they get lost in the intricate maze of alleys and little squares have contributed to indelibly defining an entirely Genoese “style”.
II LPVE, a group of young students and former students of the Liceo Musicale Sandro Pertini, directed by Luca Franco Ferrari, will perform a program focused on a musical excursus of pieces and composers originating or closely linked to the Superba, starting from the late Simone Molinaro’s Renaissance, through the nourished popular and dialect tradition, to arrive at the most refined songwriting of Bindi and De André.
With the presence of a joint delegation from Genoa (Deputy Mayor) and the Liguria Region
