The NYPD are seeking for assistance from the public in finding a young woman and her two daughters who have been missing from their Midtown Manhattan apartment building for a week.
Augustina Muntean, 16, and her two daughters – Gloria Muntean, 3, and 1-month-old Florida Muntean – were last seen on August 23 at noon, according to NYPD officials. The trio was leaving their building on East 44th Street and Third Avenue.
According to authorities, there was no proof that the girls had previously disappeared or that any sort of conflict or event had prompted them to go.
Approximately 5’3″ and 150 pounds, Augustina Muntean has long brown hair, according to the police. When last seen, she was wearing a black sandal, a long black and white skirt, and a red top.
If you have any information, the NYPD Crime Stoppers Hotline may be reached at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or, if you speak Spanish, at 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit tips through the Crime Stoppers website.
