A Florida man had a weird rage captured on camera, throwing lawn chairs and other objects down a 20-story Midtown Manhattan high rise.
A short video shows Jean Olivier, throwing chairs from a landing one floor below the roof of 555 Fifth Ave., an office building close to East 46th Street that has a Barnes & Noble on the first floor.
According to NYPD, Olivier had reportedly gone to the Haitian Consulate General located inside the building, complained about housing, then lost it and flung a chair. The video also shows him throwing other plank-like things into the busy roadway below, which a passing motorcycle rider barely missed as he sped past.
In another video, Olivier is seen raising his arms at people filming the incident from inside a building across the street.
According to police, Olivier was accused of burglary, criminal mischief, reckless endangerment, and criminal trespass.
