A UFO was witnessed speeding over the Navy’s renowned Blue Angels during an air show on Long Island during Memorial Day weekend, according to reports.
Unusual footage acquired by TMZ on Friday showed the little sphere briefly flying by the Boeing F/A-18 Super Hornet above Jones Beach. A slow-motion video captures the UFO flying straight in front of the plane before zipping out of the picture.
In a report, the National UFO Reporting Center stated that the object seemed to be between 36,500 and 41,000 feet in the air.
Given the Unidentified Aerial Phenomena’s (UAP) extreme speed and the fact that it left no trace behind as it sped onward, its identity is still unknown.
The National UFO Reporting Center received 30 reports of UFO sightings from New York City in 2023, an increase of 7% from the 28 reports from 2022 and 10% from the 27 reports from 2021.
The center has documented 57 UAP sightings in New York State as of 2024; thus far, about 11 of these have been disproved as being caused by airplanes, birds, rockets, or camera failures.
