I confess that I researched this astounding piece of news thoroughly before reporting it because I seriously doubted that it could be true. I suspected it could be an April Fool prank or a spoof, but no, it has been publicized by multiple reputable sources. Still, I offer this with a grain of salt because this seems weird even for the couple that is being increasingly described as “looking desperate.” for money and attention.
Prince Harry becomes ever more unpredictable and strange as he tries to redefine himself as a non-royal, albeit one who is intent on keeping his title and all its privileges. Now representatives for Harry have confirmed that he will play Vincent van Gogh in an upcoming biopic about the infamous painter. Who knew that Harry was an actor?
The ex-royal is following his wife, Meghan Markle, away from life in the British monarchy and also into her former profession of acting.

As we have come to expect by now, the Duke of Sussex looks to charities and good works to burnish his tarnished image. “Prince Harry is thrilled about this opportunity to further raise awareness about mental health issues,” said his talent agent, Guy Guyerson. “He identifies with Vincent van Gogh in so many ways.”
Following the announcement, Prince Harry made a surprise drop-in on the Oprah Winfrey Show to further elucidate his connection to the famed — and famously troubled — Dutch painter. It seems that Oprah is to the Sussexes what Fox News is to Donald Trump: the friendly platform that helps him launch his theories and vent his complaints.
“For one thing, we are both redheads,” he said, “which is a burden that should not be underestimated.”
Prince Harry also went on to state that he is similarly “tortured,” and also that his paintings “don’t really look like the things they are supposed to be.”
Alluding to the fact that unlike Van Gogh, he still has both his ears, he jocularly (we hope) asked Oprah: “Or … they won’t cut it off, will they? They won’t cut it off, right?”
The Prince added that he had visited Immersive Van Gogh exhibitions in 25 different cities to prepare for the role. He also plans to go look at some of the actual paintings, at some point, though currently he feels that the immersive exhibitions “better serve his process.”
“I can’t say more right now,” Prince Harry said, smiling mysteriously, “But I am thinking EGOT.”
Whereas I’m thinking: he’s gone off the deep end?
