Tech In Entertainment, the first ever panel on technology, entertainment and the metaverse, will take place on November 7 at NeueHouse in Los Angeles. The event is organized by Good Girls Planet and the focus will be analyzing how technology is redefining the way that the world of entertainment functions.
The event will be divided in two parts; one on Navigating Digital Distribution and the other on metaverse & VR. They will be hosted in collaboration with ICE.
The first panel will discuss streaming services, their market, and particularly SvoD, AvOD e TiVoD. The panel will try to make sense of how advertising is being reinterpreted in the digital world as on one hand streamers seem to have rediscovered the beauty of traditional advertising, while on the other communication is increasingly shifting towards new methods and platforms. The panel will host Kevin Reilly, a well-known-manager of the television industry, Gary Marenzi, former President of Paramount International Television, Chris Ottinger, President of MGM, and Niccolo’ Messina, founder of V-Channels and an expert of digital distribution.
The second panel will focus on making sense of one of the newest technological milestones, namely the metaverse. The guest speakers of this event will be Federico Francioni, Head of Digital Ecosystem at Meta, Amt Peck on Endeavour VR, Mathieu Nouzareth, CEO of US Sandbox, Lisa Watts, VP Product Marketing and Developer Programs Magic Leap and Tiberio Santomarco, Managing Director US, Mind.
The event takes place at a very significant time for the world of entertainment as it marks the 10th anniversary of Carlo Rambaldi, the multi-awarded special effects artist, and 40 years since the creation of the movie E.T.
