Marco Petrini guida Monini North America dal 2000, dopo aver ideato e creato questa società in funzione dello sviluppo della distribuzione dei prodotti Monini in Nord America. In aggiunta a questo ruolo, Marco è stato anche insignito di un “Honorary Degree in Culinary Arts” da parte della Johnson & Wales University e insegna regolarmente classi e seminari presso la stessa università del Rhode Island. Marco è anche un assaggiatore certificato di olio extra vergine di oliva, con diploma ottenuto dal MICO (Movimento Internazionale per la Cultura dell’Olio) nel 1998. Marco has been running Monini NA, Inc since 2000, after planning and starting the company to help expand the presence of Monini Extra Virgin Olive Oils in North America. In addition to successfully managing the business, he has been recognized by the American Culinary Foundation with an Honorary Degree in Culinary Arts and holds a Diploma from the Olive Oil Tasting Panel Association MICO (Tuscany). Marco also teaches lessons and seminars regularly at Johnson & Wales University to undergraduate and graduate students in the Culinary Arts School. He lives in Connecticut with his wife Simona and his two sons Filippo and Michele, and graduated "cum laude" from the Boston College, Carrol School of Management in 1985 - double majoring in Marketing and Human Resources Management.
