Kanye West has once again made headlines. The music producer made some anti-Semitic statements in defense of Sean “Diddy” Combs that included praise for Adolf Hitler. In a subsequently removed post, the 47-year-old stressed that talking about anti-Semitic leaders should be “normalized” and stated that he “will never apologize” for his statements. West, also called for the release of Diddy, who is currently in jail awaiting trial for alleged sex crimes. The rapper, charged with sex trafficking, racketeering, and inducing prostitution, has pleaded not guilty.
West’s new outburst came just days after the announcement of his new album Bully, which he said he made thanks to inspiration given to him by his 9-year-old son, Saint.
The artist had also captured attention for his controversial appearance at the 2025 Grammy Awards with his wife Bianca Censori, who wore a completely see-through mini-dress.
West’s statements are nothing new. In October 2022, the artist had already shocked the public by posting anti-Semitic messages. His words had caused him to lose major contracts with companies such as Balenciaga, GAP, and Adidas. The latter, in an official statement, had emphasized that it did not condone intolerance toward Jews and had discontinued its partnership with the entrepreneur, halting production of Yeezy-branded products.
Meanwhile, Diddy is facing serious legal charges. In a new complaint, he is accused of anally raping a 17-year-old boy in a New York nightclub in 2012. The man, who wished to remain anonymous, claims the musician allegedly drugged and sexually violated him in a back room.
This lawsuit joins others, including one from ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. The affair that emerged in November 2023 although quickly resolved with a settlement, was instrumental in drawing attention to the singer’s behaviors.
