Donald Trump’s Turnberry golf resort in Scotland was vandalized overnight, with activists spray-painting the message “Gaza Is Not for Sale” on the course and damaging several greens, including one used in the prestigious Open tournaments. The clubhouse was also defaced with red spray paint.
The attack was claimed by Palestine Action, which described it as a direct response to Trump’s recent remarks on the Gaza war. “Trump treats Gaza as if it were his own property to do with as he pleases. We’ve shown that even his assets are not immune to protest,” the group said, vowing to continue actions against U.S. involvement in the conflict.
Scottish authorities responded to reports of damage at the resort on Maidens Road, Turnberry, early Saturday morning. “An investigation is underway,” a police spokesperson confirmed.

The club’s management condemned the incident. “This is a criminal act, but our outstanding team will ensure that operations continue as usual. Turnberry remains a premier destination for luxury golf and will continue to be so,” a statement read.
The vandalism follows controversy surrounding Trump’s AI-generated video posted on Truth Social, depicting himself alongside Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at a fictional “Trump Gaza Resort.” The video, a parody imagining Gaza as a Las Vegas-style strip, sparked mixed reactions, with concerns it could even cause embarrassment for the White House.
Trump has also addressed Gaza residents directly, saying, “A beautiful future awaits you, but not if you hold hostages. If you do, you’re dead!” His remarks come as his administration recently approved the shipment of 40,000 bombs to Israel.
