As Hurricane Milton bears down on the western coast of central Florida, residents are already sighting tornadoes on land spawned by the storm. Two were spotted crossing the I-75 highway on a National Weather Services camera, while a number of videos taken by residents from to Sarasota to Collier County – a distance of over 160 miles – captured several more. Some heavy damage to homes in the Fort Myers area is already being considered the possible result of tornado strikes.
