Hunter Schafer, known for her role in “Euphoria,” was reportedly arrested during a pro-Palestine protest while Joe Biden was taping an episode of “Late Night With Seth Meyers.”
According to Vulture, Schafer was among 33 people arrested while demonstrating for Palestinian rights alongside the Jewish Voice for Peace group.
Images captured from the event depict Schafer donning a shirt advocating for an immediate ceasefire, while a Reuters photo shows her being escorted out of 30 Rock by an NYPD officer with her hands restrained behind her back.
The protest disrupted Biden’s appearance on Seth Meyers’ show. Concurrently, at the Michigan Democratic Primary, thousands advocated for an “uncommitted vote” to convey a message to the POTUS regarding Gaza. The uncommitted vote stood at 14.2% with 28% of precincts reporting.
During his surprise appearance on Seth Meyers’ show, Biden addressed various topics including his age, the Taylor Swift conspiracy, and the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Schafer gained prominence for her portrayal of transgender teen Jules Vaughn in “Euphoria,” earning her global acclaim and several awards. Her other works include roles in “The Hunger Games” prequel and the horror film “Cuckoo,” alongside Dan Stevens and Jessica Henwick.
