Disgraced rapper and (hopefully) ex-cultural icon Kanye West has returned once again to the news cycle by upsetting staff at his favorite 5-star hotel in Miami. West and his entourage have recently set up shop at the Four Seasons Surf Club resort, even going so far as operating a recording studio out of the luxury hotel.
Staff grievances, however, are focused on the fact that Kanye has guests coming and going at all hours of the night. Particularly, hotel security has voiced concerns; Kanye is just one of many guests staying in the luxury location, yet he is responsible for a majority of the late-night visitors that the hotel staff is required to receive and/or send home.
The largest disturbance was caused during the recent Art Basel Festival. Kanye, who performed wearing a black Klu Klux Klan mask, hosted an event at the Four Seasons that saw a line of 15 SUVs coming and going until 5am.
Kanye is rumored to be between publicists and has therefore been unreachable to comment on the matter. It is an understatement to say that whoever takes up the mantle of “Ye”’s publicist will tackle one of the most challenging jobs in the world.
