For more than two days, there has been no update on Cosimo Corrado, the YouTube content creator from Salerno who mysteriously vanished in New York, where he arrived a few days before.
On Saturday afternoon, the 21-year-old was in Manhattan and since then, his family has had no communication with him. Cosimo, who is popular online under the pseudonym ‘Kazuosan’, has also misplaced one of his two mobile phones: when his parents attempted to contact him, a stranger informed them that they found the phone on the pavement.
Naturally, there is a lot of worry. Many online appeals have been shared by his family and others, asking for any news about him since yesterday. Currently, there have been no updates. The young man is well known in Italy for his YouTube channel, where he plays games and takes on various challenges. Over one million subscribers follow him.
After the Italian press announced his disappearance, several fellow YouTubers flooded the platform with multiple videos, asking for assistance in tracing the whereabouts of the 21-year-old if anyone had witnessed or encountered him whilst wandering the streets of Manhattan. An appeal for information has been launched on Facebook as well.
