“You are in our sights, we want to kill you”. An Alvin, Texas, woman was arrested after threatening to kill a member of Congress and the federal judge who is overseeing the election conspiracy case against Mr. Donald Trump.
According to the court records, on August 5, Abigail Jo Shry, 43, called the federal courthouse in Washington D.C. and allegedly left a voicemail threatening to kill Chutkan and Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) on Aug. 5, according to a criminal complaint filed on Friday in the Southern District of Texas.

“Hey, you stupid slave n—-r,” she started her message, which she left at the judge’s chambers around 7:50 p.m., Department of Homeland Security officials wrote in the complaint obtained by WUSA9.
Judge Chutkan was attacked because she recently imposed a limit on what evidence that had been handed over by prosecutors could be publicly disclosed.
Allegedly, Shry said, “If Trump doesn’t get elected in 2024, we are coming to kill you”. And she didn’t stop there. Her death threat included “all people in the LGBTQ community”, all Democrats in DC, and specifically US Representative Sheila Jackson Lee, a Texas Democrat running for mayor of Houston, according to prosecutors.
Eventually, investigators traced her phone number and arrested her. When asked, Shry admitted she left the message but she didn’t have any intention of going to D.C. or Houston to carry out her threat. She is now held in custody for at least 30 days and represented by the Houston Public Defender’s Office.
