A Disney Hollywood Studios employee was arrested after admitting to recording around 500 upskirt videos of female guests, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a March 31 arrest report for 26-year-old Jorge Diaz Vega, deputies met with Diaz Vega after a witness reported seeing him record up a guest’s skirt. After reading Diaz Vega his rights, deputies say he admitted to taking upskirt videos of female guests for about six years, accumulating around 500 videos.
Per Diaz Vega’s narrative, he worked at the Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities in Galaxy’s Edge — Walt Disney World’s Star Wars-themed area at Hollywood Studios — and would take videos as guests shopped around the store.
The report says on March 31, security guards tracked down one of Diaz Vega’s victims and told her she may have been a witness to an incident. Another officer then told her someone had been caught taking an image under her dress at Dok-Ondar’s.
Diaz Vega stated he took the videos because they give him sexual gratification, and they’re hard to find online, according to his arrest report.
Diaz Vega was arrested and charged with video voyeurism by deputies on March 31 and bonded out of jail on April 2, according to the Orange County Clerk of Courts.
