Yourban2030 is proud to announce the launch of “Walls of Tomorrow”, a groundbreaking initiative transforming the streets of Hell’s Kitchen into a vibrant gallery of environmental storytelling and civic imagination. The initiative kicks off with “Botanical Pulse”, a stunning eco-mural created by Italian artist Fabio Petani, painted with revolutionary Airlite technology that purifies the air and neutralizes emissions.
Yourban2030 is a non-profit organization that uses art to raise awareness about environmental issues and promote sustainable development. Founded in Rome, Italy, by Veronica De Angelis, the group advocates for the United Nations Global Agenda for Sustainable Development and has expanded to New York City with Yourban2030 USA.
The “Walls of Tomorrow” project will feature 17 eco-murals, each dedicated to a different UN Sustainable Development Goal, showcasing the power of art and innovation in driving positive change. This ambitious initiative aims to promote environmental awareness and education, foster community engagement and civic imagination as well as support sustainable development and urban renewal
Using the power of light to purify the air, “Botanical Pulse” will neutralize the emissions of 43 cars every day for the next 10 years. The mural is a tribute to the power and fragility of nature and it amplifies Yourban2030’s mission of bringing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals into public spaces and urban consciousness.
For Yourban2030’s founder Veronica De Angelis, who considers New York a second home, this project is a heartfelt way of giving back — through beauty, awareness, and measurable environmental impact.
“Botanical Pulse” is just the beginning. Over the coming months, Yourban2030 will unveil a series of eco-murals that not only beautify public spaces but also contribute to a healthier environment and a more sustainable future. It will be the first outdoor climate awareness museum.
A unique collectible digital art piece inspired by Botanical Pulse can be purchased online through Ecosapiens, with proceeds supporting The Hort, a historic NYC nonprofit dedicated to green education and community building.
To further amplify the experience, Botanical Pulse is accompanied by an original soundtrack titled “Bloomstorm”, composed by Andrea Marra (AKAWalk) — a sonic interpretation of the mural’s rhythm, energy, and message.
More than public art, Botanical Pulse is a living, breathing statement of change — and an invitation to be part of the movement.
