Can a flower restore balance to the mind? Can a tiger lead the way to inner awareness? Judging by the latest sensory experience created by Genesis House in the Meatpacking District, the answer is yes.
The project, dubbed “The Forest Within,” was born out of a partnership between the Korea-based luxury car brand Genesis and the actress-turned-entrepreneur Gwyneth Paltrow, and who has transformed the concept of wellness into a true emotional and cultural immersion, giving life to The Forest Within.

Open to the public for free until June 29, the experience is a “meditative walk” that blends design, nature, and spirituality, and includes the collaboration of floral artist Jeff Leatham. The LED space inside Genesis House has been transformed into a green sanctuary inspired by the Sobaek Mountains in South Korea, guided by Paltrow’s own voice as narrator. At the center of the journey stands a tiger, a spiritual symbol in Korean culture, accompanying visitors on an inner voyage filled with enveloping sounds, natural scents, poetic imagery, and tactile textures.

But the goal goes beyond aesthetics. With The Forest Within, Paltrow once again proves she is far more than an Oscar-winning actress. For years, she has shifted her creative focus toward the world of integrative wellness, founding goop, a brand that merges lifestyle, spirituality, and innovation.
This initiative is just the latest step in a bold and consistent path, where technology, beauty, and health come together to offer transformative experiences. Her invitation is clear: to pause, breathe, and rediscover a sense of deep connection with nature, with culture, and with oneself.
