The New York City Police Department on Tuesday issued a renewed bulletin seeking public assistance in locating 11-year-old Hennessy Tavarez, who has been unaccounted for since leaving her Bronx residence more than a week ago.
Tavarez was last observed at approximately 8 a.m. on Saturday, April 13, exiting her home on Clinton Place near Davidson Avenue in the University Heights neighborhood, according to police.

While investigators noted that the child has a documented history of running away, the circumstances surrounding her most recent disappearance remain undetermined. No information has been released regarding any possible destination or motive.
At the time she went missing, Tavarez was reportedly dressed in a brown sweatshirt-style jacket, a black bonnet, black sweatpants, and black-and-white Jordan-brand sneakers. She is described as standing about five feet tall and weighing approximately 120 pounds, with black hair.
