In the vibrant heart of the East Village, a new culinary star is capturing the attention of both locals and visitors: Danny & Coop’s, a cheesesteak restaurant born from the collaboration between actor Bradley Cooper and renowned chef Danny DiGiampietro, owner of Angelo’s Pizzeria in Philadelphia.
Following a series of pop-up events that generated significant excitement, the establishment has temporarily opened its doors at 151 Avenue A, between Ninth and Tenth Streets, at least until February 23. Patrons can savor an authentic cheesesteak crafted with beef, onions, and Cooper Sharp cheese, all nestled in a soft, house-made sesame seed roll, priced at a reasonable $17.45.

The restaurant’s popularity was immediate, with word-of-mouth among enthusiasts eager to sample this delicacy. Even Cooper’s girlfriend, model Gigi Hadid, shared a photo of the sandwich on social media, encouraging New Yorkers to give it a try.
This venture follows Cooper’s 2023 initiative, where he cooked for charity from a food truck on the streets of the Big Apple. The project marks an exciting chapter in the artist’s career, showcasing his versatility and passion for culinary culture.
