Two boys were injured Saturday night when a masked shooter stormed a McDonald’s in the Bronx and fired at least six bullets at them before escaping, according to police and law enforcement sources.
The attack took place around 9:50 p.m. at the fast-food restaurant located at the intersection of White Plains Road and Mace Avenue. One of the victims, a 12-year-old boy, sustained injuries to his back and left leg, while his 13-year-old male friend was shot in the left thigh, according to police.
Both victims’ conditions at Jacobi Hospital Medical Center were categorized as stable.
According to police, the gunman was wearing all-black clothing, including a black sweatshirt with a pink emblem. They said that the shooting’s motivation is still being investigated.
