Two 13-year-olds were reportedly tied up, robbed, and attacked at knifepoint in a Queens park on Thursday afternoon, according to police, who were searching the surrounding area on Friday morning for the culprit.
Around 3:30 p.m., the two teenagers—a boy and a girl—were in Flushing’s Kissena Park, close to Colden Street and Kalmia Avenue, when they were approached by a man in his 20s.
The suspect is accused of taking out a knife, dragging the teenagers into a wooded area, tying them up, and raping the female. According to the police, he then took the cell phones from both teenagers and fled. The victims were transferred to a local hospital in stable condition.
The suspect, according to police, is around 5’5″, has black curly hair and braces on his teeth. Law enforcement reported he had a tattoo on his chest depicting a boar or bull with red eyes, and that he was last seen carrying a green bag and wearing red sneakers.
