Born in Verona in 1964, Arvedo Arvedi’s childhood and adolescence were full of stimuli and inspirations, thanks to the intellectual curiosity of his family and the many acquaintances, leading figures in the fields of culture and business (villarvedi.it). In 1993 he decisively embarked on his artistic career thanks to his meeting in Chicago with the internationally renowned artist John David Mooney, with whom he began a fruitful collaboration that continues to this day. From this partnership stemmed many projects of great global media impact like the Atlanta Olympics, Star Dance; the 150th anniversary of the Chicago Tribune; in Malta for New Year’s Eve 2000.
Having returned to Italy, Arvedi first graduated in marketing and communication and then began producing works, characterized by a new pop use of color, by a stylistic expression that combines primitivism with technology and artisanal knowledge with the speed of “ready-made”.
