The Italian Consulate General in New York will host a conference on March 18th on “Financial Empowerment is the winner: nudging the world toward gender equality,” on the occasion of the 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women.
The event (11AM-2PM) will be introduced by Italian Cultural Institute director Fabio Finotti and will be moderated by CNN reporter Francesca Giuliani Hoffman.
Additional welcoming speeches will be given by Cordialina Coppola, Officer of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers – Department of Equal Opportunities, and Martina Rogato, Co-chair and head of the W7 Italian delegation.
The panel will feature a panel of experts including:
- Virginia Littlejohn, W-20 Co-Head and member of the US delegation to the G-20
- Alessia Panella, Full Professor of Tax Law at the Cattolica University of the Sacred Heart
- Claudia Segre, Co-Chair of the W-7 and president of the Global Thinking Foundation
- Lorena Valenti, Global Account Lead at Google
Finally, the round-up will be held by Ronit Widmann-Levy, Co-chair TEDx Palo Alto.
