A 33-year-old man was shot to death in central Brooklyn Wednesday night, just two days after a bodega worker was slain half a mile away, according to officials.
According to the NYPD, Lamine Bah was shot in the head just before 6 p.m. in Crown Heights, outside the Ebbets Field Apartments on McKeever Place close to Sullivan Place.
EMS transported the victim to Kings County Hospital, but he died shortly thereafter. Authorities stated that it’s unknown what caused the shooting.
Two men who escaped the heavily-armed scene on foot and made their way north on Franklin Avenue are being sought after by the police.
The most recent act of violence in Crown Heights occurred just a few days after 37-year-old Nazim Berry, a bodega cashier, was shot in the back of the head for refusing to offer his claimed attacker a free cigarillo.
