A woman was reportedly killed overnight in Queens, and a companion of hers was shot six times but survived and later drove to a neighboring police station for assistance.
According to the NYPD, a 39-year-old man came out of a black Honda just before midnight and informed the police at the 103rd Precinct that he and the woman he was with had been shot.
The 28-year-old woman was hit once in the head and instantly died. After being shot in the torso six times, the man was transported by emergency medical services to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where his health condition was classified as stable.
The man and the woman were shot inside their vehicle near 127th Street and Liberty Avenue, according to the results of a police inquiry.
No reason for the shooting has been provided, and no arrests have been made as of yet.
