Police discovered three dead bodies inside a Bronx apartment at 7 a.m. on Sunday. The shocking findings were found at a Mott Haven apartment complex located at 674 East 136th Street.
After receiving a 9-1-1 call, authorities discovered a guy in the first-floor hallway who had been stabbed in the torso. Jonathan Rivera, 38, was found dead in the corridor, his body covered in blood from several stab wounds. After then, according to the police, a first-floor apartment in the same building contained the bodies of a 33-year-old Hanoi Peralta and a 5-year-old Kayden Rivera.
One of the first floor neighbors claimed to have heard a disturbance the previous evening. “There was a scuffle or something going on in the hallway. I know I heard that, and then I heard a woman screaming,” the neighbor said, as reported by Fox5 NY.
While the police look into the accident, the cause of death will be ascertained.
