The 17th annual Robert D. Cess Concorso d’Eleganza Annual Celebration of Italian Vehicle Excellence and Beauty, hosted by the Stony Brook University Center for Italian Studies, will be held on Sunday, October 8, from 10 am to 1 pm.
The location is Parking Lot 2, in front of Tubman Hall and across from the Wang Center. Visitors can park across the street, in Parking Lot 1. Download the parking map.
The show, which is free and open to the public, was originally scheduled for September 10, but was postponed due to inclement weather.
The Concorso d’Eleganza is extremely popular among auto enthusiasts and features examples of “art forms on wheels” as a means of illustrating one form of Italian culture. Various Italian vehicle groups will be represented at the show.
