In keeping with tradition, New York City will once again host the most anticipated fireworks display of the year – Macy’s Fourth of July show.
This year Pyro Spectaculars has promised new innovations that will astound the thousands of New Yorkers and tourists who will populate parks and streets overlooking the East River.
The show is scheduled to begin at 9:25 p.m., but it is almost mandatory to camp out well in advance to get a better view.
The platforms from which the fireworks will be set off will be located near East 26th and East 40th streets. Here are the best places to enjoy the show alone or with your friends and family:
