Joel Gaitan, a Nicaraguan-American artist whose work revolves around the matters of identity, sexuality, and ancestral lineage, will be featured in 10 Rockefeller Plaza, 30 Rockefeller Plaza, 50 Rockefeller Plaza, and on the street and concourse levels of 45 Rockefeller Plaza starting on Tuesday, March 28, 2023.

The East Village Art Collection will be hosting “Creative Control”, an immersive art party, on Friday, Mar 31, 2023 starting at 7:30 pm complete with live music and drinks. This exhibit will feature the various processes that artists undergo when executing their artistic vision through a 360-degree experience both digitally and physically.

Artist, Two Thangs, will be displaying his series of remixed pop-cultural paintings along with larger installations in his solo exhibition, Year of the Duece. This show includes references to popular shows like Twin Peaks and Bob’s Burgers as well as other cultural icons all working in tandem to accomplish Two Thangs’ purpose of starting a conversation with what he creates.

This exhibit showcases a collection of unique textile pieces which represent colorful examples of Romanian embroidery heritage from The Muzeul Textilelor in Băița and Hărţăgani, western Romania, by the director, Dr. Florica Zaharia. The exhibition will run through the 21st of April, 2023.
