The Italian Cultural Institute in New York and Cinello, Italy’s leading curator of digital art, present MUSaEUM in New York, the first showcase of digital multiplexes (DAW®) in America. The cutting-edge DAW® technology is a unique patent that contributes to the dissemination and digital preservation of artistic heritage.
Curator Carlo Francini (UNESCO Florence Site Director) explains: “The title MUSaEUM in New York is a way for us to pay due tribute to our cultural heritage and invite everyone to appreciate the beauty and uniqueness of the art treasures kept in our museums.”
On Jan. 18 at 3.30 pm, the Italian Cultural Institute in New York, in partnership with Gruppo Esponenti Italiani (GEI), will host the panel “Creativity and Business in the Digital World”.
During the discussion, introduced by Director of the Italian Cultural Institute in New York Fabio Finotti and Consul General of Italy in New York Fabrizio Di Michele, there will be Vittorio Sgarbi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture (in video conference from Italy), Mario Calvo-Platero, President of Gruppo Esponenti Italiani and Chairman Palazzo Strozzi Foundation USA, Alain Elkann, Writer and President of the Foundation for Italian Art & Culture, Elio, Songwriter and lead vocalist of Elio e Le Storie Tese (in video conference from Italy) and Franco Losi, CEO of Cinello and author with Elio of Uaired.
